Rapidly Defined, Designed and Launched a Startup
We successfully launched Elyptol as a new brand in just six months. Our work included custom logo and package designs, FDA-compliant labeling, a shopper-friendly website, and a fully equipped traveling trade show booth with marketing materials.
The new brand identity and packaging were widely admired and greatly facilitated the brand’s access to potential retail channels. As a result of this strong brand foundation, over time, Elyptol achieved revenues of over $60 million in a single year.
The Challenges
At the end of 2013, Elyptol existed only as a name and a recipe for a natural botanical hand sanitizer. There were no logos, packaging, FDA labels, or any branding elements, and the founders lacked experience in brand creation.
The Strategy
Serving as Interim CMO, we guided Elyptol and our custom-built creative team through brand positioning, logo design and label development, website creation, social media setup, FDA labeling, and trade show booth design.
Importantly, our leadership ensured that the brand identity across all designs—logo, packaging, and more—accurately embodied and aligned with the unique brand positioning we defined for Elyptol.
